Thanks to modern microsurgical techniques, which we offer in our practice, we are able to restore permanent hair growth. For whom is a hair transplant suitable?

In principle, almost everyone can receive a hair transplant.

What methods are available?

The two most common methods are offered in our practice. These methods are F.U.T. (follicular unit transplantation) and F.U.E. (follicular unit extraction). The F.U.T. Method consists in taking a strip of hair from the back of the head, whereas with the F.U.E. method, each hair follicle is removed individually.

How is hair transplant performed in detail?

The F.U.T. Method consists in removing a strip of hair. The removal site at the back of the head is then closed with a suture that is almost invisible after healing.

After the procedure, the hair strip is carefully examined under a microscope, prepared for transplantation, dissected into the natural bundles of hair and stored in a nutrient solution until transplantation.

The F.U.E. method is currently the most modern method of hair transplantation – natural bundles of hair follicles are removed by means of a hollow needle, also examined microscopically and replanted after intermediate storage in a nutrient solution. The advantage of this method is that no suture is required, as the removal site closes by itself.
Both procedures are performed under local anaesthesia.

How long does the procedure take?

Depending on the size of the area, the method and the duration of the preparation, you can expect the treatment to take a few hours – usually between 3-6 hours.

How much does a hair transplant cost?

During the consultation, we examine your current hair density and the possibilities of transplantation, because price calculation is as individual as your scalp and the problem of hair loss.
We charge €70 for the consultation, which will be offset in case of a subsequent transplantation.
You will receive an individual treatment plan and a price calculation tailored to your needs.
